Working on BG / Trabajando un fondo

Here's the layout I'm currently working on, to create a background which is inspired in an old classic neighborhood. I still have to add many details, as well as a few characters.
I will upload the final images when I'm done with this.
ESP: Aquí tienen el layout en el cual me encuentro trabajando para crear un fondo que está inspirado en un viejo barrio. Aún tengo que agregar muchos detalles, además de algunos personajes.

Aquí está el dibujo terminado de la cara de león. Realizarlo me llevó 3 noches. El trabajo fue rápido porque imitar la textura de los pelos fue una tarea sencilla. El resto es simplemente sombreado.
Here you have the finished drawing of the face of a lion. It took me 3 nights to get it done. The work was fast because in order to imitate the hair texture was very easy. The rest is just shadowing.

Aquí está el dibujo terminado de la cara de león. Realizarlo me llevó 3 noches. El trabajo fue rápido porque imitar la textura de los pelos fue una tarea sencilla. El resto es simplemente sombreado.

Hace ya algunos días que estoy dibujando en lápiz de forma realista para practicar un poco el manejo de texturas, luces y sombras. Aquí pueden ver un dibujo de mi mano. En futuras entradas seguiré mostrando otros dibujos a lápiz.
It's a few days since I've been drawing with pencil in a realistic way to practice a little how to handle with textures, lights and shadows. Here you can see a drawing of my hand. On future posts I'll keep on showing other pencil drawings.

Después de unas 6 noches de trabajo finalmente terminé el dibujo que mencioné en un post anterior. El propósito de este trabajo es entrenarme un poco en el dibujo realista. Para realizarlo, primero comencé con un lápiz 2B, después fui agregando capas de 3B y 4B para marcar un poco las zonas negras. Algunas líneas delgadas fueron dibujadas con lápiz H.
El proceso de dibujo fue lento porque no usé reglas, sino que todo fue hecho a mano, midiendo las proporciones con un lápiz.
After 6 nights of hard work I finished at last with the pencil drawing I mentioned on the previous post. The purpose of this work is to get trained a little bit on realistic drawing. In order to get it done I first started with a 2B pencil, then kept adding layers with 3B and 4B to stress out the dark areas. Some thin lines were drawn with H pencil.
The drawing process was slowly because I didn't use rulers, but just by measuring proportions with a pencil and that was all.
